Is Your Email To Us Blocked?
THIS SERVER USES SEVERAL "BLOCKLISTS" TO HELP PREVENT EMAIL SPAM.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS PAGE IF YOU'VE BEEN SENT HERE BY AN EMAIL
YOU'VE RECEIVED FROM US OR IN A POP-UP MESSAGE FROM YOUR EMAIL PROGRAM.
Preventing spam is not an exact science and we may have accidentally blocked your email to us even though you are not sending spam.
Please follow these instructions to allow your email to reach us:
Send an email to
whitelist@homepokertourney.com.
The Subject of your email must be "Unblock me".
The first line of the email body must be your return email address.
The second line of the email body must be the email address you're trying to reach.
The email must be in plain text (ASCII).
We will email you to let you know if your email has been unblocked. If we can't unblock you (for example, if you ARE a spammer), we'll email
you and let you know why.
Please visit the Email Blocked topic in the HPT Forums if you
are unable to unblock your email to us.
Additional Spam Block Info
This server uses several internet "blocklists" to prevent spam from reaching user's mailboxes. There are several steps you may take
to see why your email was blocked. Please refer to the appropriate blocklist that blocked your email.
CBL
If your message mentioned "cbl" you should check the CBL (Composite Blocking List) website information at
//cbl.abuseat.org/ and look up your IP address at
//cbl.abuseat.org/lookup.cgi to see why your IP address may be on that blocklist.
LBL or BSHL
If your message mentioned "LBL" or "BSHL" your mail server was intentionally blocked by our server.
You should contact our "whitelist" email address near the top of this page to find out why you were blocked and what you can do to be unblocked.
SORBS
If your message mentioned "sorbs" you should read the SORBS site and check your IP address at
//www.dnsbl.sorbs.net to determine why your email may have been blocked.
Your IP address may not be blocked, but the IP address that your ISP uses to send email is blocked, or the IP address may be an open relay.
SPAMHAUS
If your message mentioned "spamhaus" you should read the FAQ at
//www.spamhaus.org/faq/ and check the site at
//www.spamhaus.org/ to determine why your email may have been blocked.
SpamCop
If your message mentioned "spamcop" you should read the SpamCop site at
//www.spamcop.net/ and check your IP address at
//spamcop.net/reported.shtml to determine why your email may have been blocked.
Other Blocks
Other blocks are put in place due to the number of open relays on DSL networks. If your domain name resolves to a DSL or ADSL domain or is a
known dynamic block of IP addresses used by ISPs that should not be hosting a mail server (for example, dsl-verizon.net or *.da.uu.net) you should probably
send email through your ISP's SMTP server instead of directly from your own mail server. You can also contact your ISP about setting up a proper reverse DNS so
that your IP address does not resolve to a DSL or dialup domain name.
