Poker chip These are 7.5 gram poker chips without edge spots. They closely resemble the common 'Diamond' or 'Super Diamond' type of poker chips that are found all over the place. The difference here is the official ESPN logo that is printed on the chip - very few of the diamond type chips have any printing (or hot stamping) on them.

I could not peel the label off the chip, because there is no label. The artwork is painted on to the face of the chip. I could not scratch the label with my fingernail but it was fairly easy to scratch with a knife. There shouldn't really be a problem here. The design of the label is rather nice but all the labels are the same grey background color. The only difference between chips is the color of the border around the perimeter of the chip.

These chips feel and sound like a Super Diamond chip. The label makes the chip a bit slicker than the label-less Super Diamond chips. These chips do not have the cross-hatch pattern that is present on the Super Diamond chips.

I was sent only one sample poker chip - the weight was 7.54 grams and the diameter was 39.63mm.

It costs $33 for a set of 500 ESPN poker chips without a case and $80 with a case. The $33 price works out to 7 per chip, which is a good deal when compared to the 6-9 gram 'Diamond' poker chips. If you are holding a large tournament and are leery of using the same old Super Diamond chips, these chips are an excellent alternative at a good price.

These are 11.5 gram versions of the ESPN chip reviewed above. I actually prefer the lighter (7.5g) ESPN chips reviewed above - they weigh less, but they feel and sound better than a 11.5 composite poker chip. The design on these 11.5g chips are bolder, and the different colors are much easier to view than the 7.5g chips, but the feel of a composite chip is just so plasticy!

Sample weights were 11.18, 11.49, 11.90, and 11.74 grams. Sample diameters were 40.04, 40.03, 39.97, and 39.94mm. Four chips stacked together was 13.64mm thick.

I do not have a link to these chips at the present time ...

Poker chip Poker chip These are traditional 11.5 gram composite poker chips with a metal insert. At 10 a chip, these poker chips are a good deal and a good option to consider if you need thousands of chips for your large tournament.

Sample weights were 11.82, 11.81, 11.81, 11.76, and 11.81 grams. Sample diameters were 39.98, 40.00, 39.99, 40.00, and 39.96mm. Five chips stacked together was 17.17mm thick.

These chips look and feel like your typical 11.5 gram composite poker chip. The suited edge spots are nice and give the chip added character.
