These are 11.5 gram composite chips with various poses of porn star Asia Carrera.
There is no nudity on any of the chips. The chip itself is your basic 11.5 gram metal insert poker chip with the composite
material is just a touch softer than your average 11.5 gram composite chip. There are eight white edge spots that
line up perfectly with the label. I could peel the vinyl label off using my fingernail and then re-apply the label
with little noticeable change. This poker chip set is meant for tournament play since the denominations are 25, 50,
100, 500, 1000, 5000, 10000, 25000, and 50000.
Sample weights were 11.79, 12.02, 11.91, 11.59, 11.71, 11.77, 11.77,
and 11.79 grams. Sample diameters were 39.95, 40.03, 39.91, 39.82, 39.96, 39.96, 39.98, and 39.93mm. Eight chips stacked
together was 27.35mm thick. |

These are dog breed poker chips that are the same type of chips that are reviewed above except for the labels.
I like the images on these chips, they are simple but crisp. All the labels are perfectly centered and aligned with the
edge spots. There are 35 different dog
breeds available and the chips are sold in packages of 10.
The chips have a metal insert and are a bit slippery. There were some spinners in the samples that I was sent. Sample weights
were 11.77, 11.62, 11.64, 11.47, 11.61, 11.72, 11.77, and 11.73 grams. Sample diameters were 39.97, 39.96, 39.95, 39.86, 39.89, 39.95,
40.02, and 39.96mm. Eight chips stacked together was 27.38mm thick.

These 11.5 gram metal insert chips are similar to most common 11.5 gram composites, the main
difference being the slightly higher quality, nice edge spots, and a sticker inlay.
These chips are printed on the Ace-King mold. There is an Ace on the right and a King on the left
of the chip molding. There is TEXAS engraved at the top and HOLD'EM engraved at the bottom. Each of the four white
edge spots is correctly positioned at the 2, 4, 8, and 10 o'clock positions compared to the orientation of the label.
This is one of the few chips I have seen that have this outstanding feature. The edge spots on this chip are nice,
some of the best I've seen on 11.5 gram composites.
There is an injection mold dimple on one side of this chip directly below the engraved TEXAS. There
are no edge ridges on this chip. The quality of construction is better than a typical 11.5 gram composite.
The sound was the same as a typical metal insert composite but the feel was slightly better due to the large inlay.
The chips stack and slide about the same as a typical composite.
There is a nice feel to these chips. The sticker is slightly recessed so that it is completely flush on the chip, you cannot
feel a seam of any kind. The labels are paper covered with a plastic film. With some effort, the plastic film could be pealed off
with a fingernail. It then took even more effort to peel off the sticker. Because the sticker is recessed, and because there is
no seam between the label and the chip molding, it is extremely difficult to peel off these labels. The labels were perfectly
centered and aligned (heads-up) on the chip. As stated above, all the edge spots line up perfectly with the labels. There are
denominations printed on these chips. |

These are nice chips based on the same chip as the Las Vegas Edge Spot which is reviewed below. They have a
traditional look and great edge spots. They have a good feel to them compared to most composites.
I could peel the label off with my fingernail, It came off in one piece and could then be stuck back on with no
damage. The label is covered in a layer of plastic. I could not scratch it with my fingernail. It was difficult to
scratch with a knife. There should be no problem with these labels, they are well recessed into the center.
I received numerous samples of this chip. Sample diameters were 40.09, 40.03 and 40.05mm. Three chips stacked
together were 10.04mm thick.
I could not scratch the plastic and the colors were solid all the way through the chip. I could not find an injection
mold pimple. There is a slight seam that runs down one edge, similar to many chips of this type. You cannot see or feel
the seam. There are diamonds on the rolling edge of the chip. There are no edge ridges on this chip.
Unfortunately, these chips do not really sound much better than most 11.5 gram composite chips. The label helps
to deaden the sound but there is still some of the 'clink' of a metal insert chip.
There are three lovely edge spots on this chip and they are all correctly centered with the label. The
combination of great edge spots with nice labels and a good feel make this a good all-around poker chip. |

These chips are very nice and may be the best of the composite chips available. They have a traditional look
and great edge spots. They have a good feel to them compared to most 11.5 gram composites, probably the best. The mold
has the lettering LAS VEGAS NEVADA USA engraved into the border. The lettering gives the chip a nice texture, somewhat
similar to the feeling of a Horse Head chip. These chips are known as NexGen chips on some other websites.
The center of this chip is recessed so you can
stick on your own custom labels printed on a color laser or ink-jet printer. In fact, this chip seems to be 'the chip of
choice' if you want to do this. The center inlay area is 26.0mm (1.02 inches) wide so you can buy sheets of
blank 1" labels and print them out on your own printer. You can even change the labels for each different tournament
you hold. Be warned though, it can be quite tedious to stick, and center, labels on both sides of 500 or 1000 chips.
I received numerous samples of this chip. Sample
diameters were 40.09, 40.03 and 40.05mm. Three chips stacked together were 10.04mm thick. The chips reviewed above were the
same 10.04mm thick, even with labels on them.
I could not scratch the plastic and the colors were solid all the way through the chip. I could not find an injection
mold pimple. There is a slight seam that runs down one edge, similar to many chips of this type. You cannot see or feel the
seam. There are diamonds on the rolling edge of the chip. There are no edge ridges on this chip.
Unfortunately, these chips do not really sound any
better than a typical 11.5 gram composite chip. The sound might not be quite so metallic, probably because of the
additional 0.5 gram in weight, but there is still that same 'clink' of a metal insert chip. Putting your own custom
labels on these chips will help to deaden the sound a bit.
These are some of the best mid-range poker chips you can buy. They have great edge spots and good
colors. They feel okay and are definitely much more textured than an average
composite chip. They should be at the top of any list of composite chips. |

These chips are nice. The weight, feel, and sound is excellent for a diamond type chip. This is one of
the better diamond chips, without the plasticy feel that some diamond chips have. The 8.5-9 gram weight is also very
important when using diamond chips, the less than 8 gram diamond chips just feel and sound too light.
These chips were hard to scratch or mark and did hide scratches very well. There is a small injection
mold pimple in the trench just under the rim which is no problem. There are no edge ridges on this chip. |
