Chip 300 500 650 1000
Comp 3 N N 10.5 N N 300   185 285

Poker chip These chips have a nice sound and feel to them. They have no metallic clink and feel lighter than the 10.5 grams that they weigh. They are some of the nicest composite chips that I have handled. The increase in weight from a typical 9 gram 'real clay' chip to a 10.5 gram 'real clay' chip made a big difference in both feel and sound. The chips do not sound as hollow or light-weight as the 9 gram version.

They have three nice edge spots (white spot except for the white chip) with a crown engraved between each spot. The edge spots are not painted on, they are solid through the chip. The overall feel of these chips was better than I anticipated and the craftsmanship was very high.

Like all 'real clay' chips, they can be snapped in half with your fingers but it takes about 5 times as much effort as the All-in Chips. You can see the crack in the image to the left, I forgot to scan the chip before breaking it! The innards are the same white clay/plastic/resin composite material that seems to be in the center of all these types of chips. The lack of a metal insert results in a better feeling and sounding chip. They do not have a metallic sound to them.

Chip 300 500 650 1000
Las Vegas Strip Comp 6 N N 11.5 Y Y/N 300   100 140
Las Vegas Denom. Comp 6 N N 11.5 Y Y/N 300   100 140

Poker chip Poker chip These are typical 11.5 gram composite chips except for the very nice inlay sticker that covers most of the chip. The composite feels a bit better than a typical 11.5 gram composite, it is not as shiny and slippery. The quality and construction of these chips would put them in a class slightly above a typical composite chip.

There are six multi-colored edge spots that do an effective job. There are no edge ridges on this chip.

It was very difficult to scratch or tear the sticker. The sticker could be peeled off within a couple attempts with your fingernail. The sticker could then be placed back on to the chip without noticing any real difference. The center of the chips is slightly recessed so the sticker should not come off during normal play. An almost invisible injection mold pimple is located under the label.

Chip 300 500 650 1000
Comp 6 N N 11.5 Y Y/N 300   100 140

Poker chip This chip is very similar to the two chips in the above chart except for the slightly different mold. This mold has the word poker engraved four times onto the chip with the four card suits printed between each.

There are no edge spots on this chip. Instead, there is a series of diamonds and circles, similar to a typical 11.5 gram composite. The lack of edge spots makes this chip not quite as nice as the two chips listed above.

These chips were slightly larger in diameter (by about 0.5mm) than other 11.5 gram composites. It seemed to fit in an acrylic chip tray with no problem, but I only had the one chip to try.
